Can I borrow a mat?
While we always have extra mats available at the studio, it is encouraged that you bring your own mat to class. Using the same mat can not only help you grow more consistent in your practice, but it is also more sustainable for the studio as a whole. Borrowed mats are still cleaned after every use.

What should I bring to class?
Essentials include comfortable clothing, yoga mat and water. For more tips on how to best prepare for your first An Seomra class, read here.

What class is best for me?
Short answer - whichever class best suits your schedule! We do recommend those new(er) to yoga start with our ‘Absolute Beginners’ class on Monday or Tuesday evenings, as it will (re)introduce the foundation poses. Otherwise, full class descriptions can be read here.

What class is best for me if I am recovering from an illness or injury?
We definitely recommend slow and steady. A private session, or one of our studio classes with a slower approach, would help to ease you back into the practice. Nevertheless, just make the instructor aware of your abilities at the start of the practice, and we will ensure to suggest adjustments when necessary,

If I am overweight, can I still attend yoga classes?
Uh, absolutely!! An Seomra Yoga instructors are all equipped to give you modifications if needed. There may be some poses that are less suitable or feasible, but our yoga really is for everyone.

If I am pregnant, can I still attend yoga classes?
This is open to discussion with each of the instructors prior to a session. That being said, we would recommend focusing on pregnancy-specific / conducive yoga classes for the time, if possible.

Where can I park?
There is street parking made available right outside of our facility, and on the surrounding streets. Pay and display until 6.30pm.
The nearest free parking is by the promenade in Salthill, Co. Galway. Approximately a 7 minute walk from the studio.

Where can I leave my bicycle?
There is a bike-park right outside of our studio in Small Crane Square, Sea Road, West End Galway.

I missed a class in the Beginners Course - can I make it up an alternative time?
Yes, you are very welcome to make up any missed classes during the 8-week series of yoga classes. Classes do not carry forward after the 8 weeks, however. Your teacher will recommend a make-up class best suited for your situation.
